meet Nu and Ma
Joyce (Nu) grew up with an autoimmune disease that required her to eat whole foods and limit sugar intake, however, she also had a major sweet tooth. When she started traveling for work, she struggled to find a healthier sweet alternative so her Ma, Jane, whipped up a healthier version of her favorite childhood candies from China. And that's how Numa was born.
When I was growing up in Shanghai, everything was fresh from the farm and I really believe that’s why everyone was healthy and happy.

connect & nourish
We hope our snacks and story can bring people together around a shared love of delicious and healthier foods.
redefine “ethnic” foods
Asian snacks are so much more than seaweed and rice chips and many are actually quite similar to American snacks. We’re going to meet you with what you know and, on the way, show you what we know.
